To go along with this reminder blog post, I created a card that summed up the past week! It was my birthday, and I used Birthday Balloons. From an Easter celebration with my fam, a couple of dinners out with dear friends, and a trip to Disneyland, it was really a stellar week to remember! And this stamp is perfect for it!
I love her girly girl outfit, and I've colored her up nice and bright! I used patterned paper from one of my fave current lines - Plus One by Amy Tangerine and added baby mix sequins from Some Odd Girl and ribbon from my stash.
It's like a party on a card, don't ya think??

Bright Colors!
Hello everyone!
It's time for another Challenge at Milk Coffee today! This time, it's all about bright colors! I don't know about you but I am truly loving all the pastel colors of Spring time, but it's always nice to have a bit of a tiny change to shake things up :).
And speaking of something different, I tried new techniques for my project. First, to make Charlotte at Paper Airplane stand out, I colored her up as brightly as I could (hence the hair). I, then, added the watercolored background - I had painted this background (Art Impressions Water Color series) using Marvy markers. I need a lot of practice, but I really adore the effect!
Second, I tore the edges off the papers to sort of do a tattered, vintage effect. Charlotte reminds me of The Littles -- I think I may have mentioned that before. I loved watching those shows about the tiny little humans with tails!
I hope that I haven't offended anyone with the colors I chose for her. It says "Air Force," but I think the stamp is done in good fun. Please also see the main MC blog to view all the rest of the Design Team's work! We sure do wish you could join us! The challenge runs for two weeks!!
See you soon!!
Happy Secretaries' Day!
Hi all!!
Did you know that today is Secretaries' Day? I had chaired a committee that had to know all the holidays at work so I know this info (almost to heart) :). I am very grateful to our Admin Assistants on the job. When the day gets crazy, they could make the difference. It really helps that there is a person who could find out timing for our patients' appointments, call transport to pick up for an xray, even offer families water when the nurses are running around.
I thought using Time for Tea Designs' Apple for Teacher was perfect for this day. I had originally colored her up a while back in anticipation for Teacher's Day (in May), but then I thought the way she balanced those books and apple was just like the way our clerks balance the chaos of the unit on their shoulders. You see, they always keep their cool even if the unit gets super busy!
I thought Allison Kreft's typewriter patterned paper fit right in! And that message tag too! Anyway, I gots to go!! Still on vacay so I gotta relax :). These posts are all pre-scheduled.
I'll see you all tonight!
P.S. Don't forget that Time for Tea Designs still has the Anything Goes Challenge going on till 4/30! The prizes are amazing!!

Easter Party at TGF!
Hello all!!
It's time for another TGF project showcase from the Print & Cut team! It's our last chance to work and post about the Hoppy Easterkit (for now), and our theme is to make an Easter-themed 3D card and a scrapbook lay-out!
I hosted Easter this year for my family so I decided to make an all-out party-on scenic card! I even dove into my stamp stash and grabbed Easter Anya and Lucky Bunnies -- they were all very fun to color! The color scheme isn't your typical pastel-like Spring, but I really wanted a bright creation! They sure are having a great time, especially Easter Bean, who is an exclusive digi stamp from the kit!
My 3D effect comes from this special fold. I under-shot the folding part so the angle isn't quite right, tee hee! But you get the gist, right? :) The fence with the confetti was created by lining up these fun little tags I got (sorry, I don't remember where). They kinda reminded me of lots and lots and lots.... and lots and lots of Easter eggs, don't you think?
My other project is a Project Life lay-out featuring more pics from last year. Here's my son during his preschool's Easter Egg Hunt. The younger tater tot joined in, but he was cranky (it was naptime, if I remember correctly).
I let the pictures do the talking again. And included these cute stickers from a scrapbooking kit I got featuring Peeps. They are adorable!
I'll be seeing you soon! I am on vacay this week so I may be crafting sporadically.
P.S. Make sure you visit the other TGF File Design team members - Claudette, Cynthia, and Sui Lan.
Toot-a-loo!!

Catch a Falling Star....
Good Friday mornin', peeps!!
It's a C.C. Designs' Day for moi. At least, when it comes to posting about a handmade card!
I am part of the CCDT team that showcases Make It Crafty stamps. You see, these super cute stamps are also sold at the C.C. Designs' store. I'm ecstatic about this line because I've always admired their Anime-like images!
Today, I've got Floppy. Technically, he's an elf, therefore, a Christmas stamp. But I wanted to show the versatility of this guy. Who says fairies are only females?
I've got quite an imagination, and I've always been drawn to the land of fantasy. When I saw these Project Life cards from Studio Calico (Sugar Rush kit), I knew Floppy was perfect for them.
I love the message on the card -- that anything is possible :). Plus, I just watched Gravity for the second time, and my head has been in the clouds... or rather, the stars. LOL.
P.S. Sorry about the lighting of the photos. I couldn't edit them "just right."
Hugs,

Some Bunny Loves You.
Hi all!!
Easter weekend is underway for me...are you almost ready?
We usually do a BIG celebration, being Catholic and all. But also because now there are quite a number of little ones in our family. That's what good about having kiddies, right? You see every thing through their eyes! The Easter Bunny, the egg-hunting, the beautifully-decorated church, the people all dressed in their Sunday best!
Here on my crafty blog-o-sphere, I've still got a couple of Easter-themed projects to show you!
Today, I am so excited to showcase Jo Davies' newest creations for her line, Time for Tea Designs!
Not only does she have an adorable digi stamp (Some Bunny Loves You) that's perfect for Spring, she's got five different sets of digital Spring papers!!! They are so easy to use. And they have wonderful designs to boot!
Once purchase, you could easily print and cut them as I did here. Or if you have one of those fancy machines like a Silhoutte, you can so many 3D projects with these! Jo has an amazing example on her blog!
And ya know what else? She's having an Easter sale on all the items in her shop. Just read the details here for 30% off until Monday, the 21st.
Also, please don't forget that we want to see your T4TD creations ... there's a challenge going on right now until the end of the month (Anything Goes). There's a stellar prize for the 1st and 2nd winners!!
Well, gotta go back to my Spring Cleaning... which by the way, goes together with my Easter weekend. You see, my hubs and I are hosting :).

Transplant Nurses' Day
Happy Transplant Nurses' Day!!!!
I know, I know... they have a "day" for everything these days! But transplant recipients and donors are very special, and caring for them could be quite hard! But it's also very rewarding. I'm proud to do what I do!!
I love the new Nurse Kaylee from Some Odd Girl and wanted to play along their facebook challenge of Wishy-Washi.
It's such a perfect challenge for me because I love love love washi! It's so simple and pretty cheap, and it comes in thousands of designs!!
Welp, I'm off to work... I'll see you all in a bit! Remember that when you choose to donate your organs, you save a life! A message from your friendly registered nurse! :)

More than just an Easter kit!
Good Monday morning to you all!!
Today, I've got a couple of projects to show you using The Greeting Farm's current File Cut kit - Hoppy Easter. Now, I know Easter is just around the corner, but the Design team wanted to show you how versatile this kit could also be!
For our creations this week, we were to make non-Easter related projects. I have a lay-out featuring my fam:
I basically just layered and mixed the journal cards and as a result, a "patterned paper" emerged! Trying to tie in the graphic lay-out of the pics for this one.
For my second showcase, I have a card featuring Easter Bean, which is a digital stamp exclusive to this kit. I also included some more components of the kit... you really could come up with lots of different combinations!
Easter Bean's hat was actually a bunny, but to get away from the Easter vibe, I altered the ears to make it look more bear-ish. The thought behind it was to make her look Kawaii-ish, and so the main sentiment was formed! There are lots of people like me, afterall. I am in my 30s, still loving Sanrio! Hey, you gotta have a fun side, am I right? Plus, I've always been for cutes-y things!!
I did cut out the Easter egg she was holding and was going to draw a ball, but it turned out oval anyway. LOL!!
Hope you all get to view the other girlies' blogs! Claudette, Cynthia, and Sui-Lan have great ideas on the challenge! And don't forget to tell us on the TGF blog about projects you've created using this kit. We'd love to include it on the next post!!

Nurses.
Hi everyone!
Today, C.C. Designs has a new release! There is a special celebration coming in May other than Mother's Day.
But first, I wanted to announce the winner of the CCD's 7th Birthday Blog Hop winner from my blog. It's Katya! Katya, please email Christine at christine@ccdesignsrubberstamps.com and put "blog hop winner" on the subject line! Congratulations!
And now the release: Nurses' Day/ Week is in May so these lovelies are out just in time!! These special stamps hold a dear place in my heart. Not only are they adorable, they are also sweet and I think the images and sentiments capture what Nursing is all about! I work as a Pediatric Registered Nurse, and so much of my career defines who I am. I love that I am blending both my chosen career as an RN and my "job" as a crafter/ Design Team member(s).
First, I have Nurse Nancy. Although she is dressed in the older and more traditional white uniform of Nursing, she is endearing and modest and I love that expression of warmth on her face. I colored her up in one of the trendy colors of today (& also my current favorite), which is mint!
When I created the card, I was still in a CAS (clean and simple) type of mood. The card is layered very minimally, and I stopped adding papers when I saw the cool design made from those graphic lines. I laid down some puffy stickers and stuck that wonderful sentiment from the stamp set, For the Nurses. I must say that I really LOVE this card!
The next card I'm going to show you is of Feel Better. Action images are so cool, aren't they? They really test how amazing the artist is. This one defines how just a simple touch and eye contact could mean so much. I am quite proud to have a profession that is known to be caring and kind.
Again, this is more relevant of past times. You hardly ever see nurses in dresses and caps anymore (at least in the United States), but isn't vintage "in?" The gentleman's clothes are also reminiscent of past times. For this retro card, I chose to embellish with the stamp set, Candy Doodads Sticky Poo. Isn't that name AWESOME? hehe. That's a Band-Aid at the bottom, I think ... you could do so much with that!
For my final card, it's time to showcase Nurse Lucy. She's a bit more modern, even in her dress. I, then, created a scene using more puffy Kawaii stickers and cut up pictures of a city to mimic a landscape.
Too bad these last photos were blurry. ;)
Thanks so much for visiting! These stamps are not only perfect for that special caregiver in your lives, they would also work well for "Get Well" cards! Please visit the C.C. Designs blog to view the release and for more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team members.

Easter at Milk Coffee.
Hello, hello, hello!
Peeps, it is time for another Challenge over at Milk Coffee!! This time, it's all about Easter!
Now you may not agree that this image, although cute, is an Easter stamp. But Lisbeth and Big Mushroom in the Rain is quite perfect for new beginnings, right? Get it... rain and growth, sadness then happiness?
Plus, with the added chicks and jelly beans and pastel colors, the only things missing are eggs and bunnies!! BTW, I'm saving those stickers for another project! :)
Remember that you've got two weeks to play! I hope you all join us! The Milk Coffee shop is full of amazing and adorable images! But you could still create something with any stamped image! Using MC would be a HUGE plus though!
Please head on over to the blog to see the other DT's cards!! Trust me, you will be inspired!
Talk to ya later,
P.S. The "Peep" sentiment is from The Greeting Farm's Hoppy Easter Kit. :)

T4T Challenge!
Hi everyone!!
I'm so happy to announce that Jo Davies will be running a little competition on her blog for Time for Tea Designs images!! It can be found here:
T4T Competition
T4TD has just celebrated one year, and has grown so much! I'm so happy for Jo and all of her hard work and stellar digis! I am lucky enough to have been part of the DT from the start! I think that it is so awesome to see everyone's cards and creations using these beloved images!
And that's not all! There are prizes to be won!!! The competition runs till the end of April, and you can win two prizes! Please see the link for more info! Your creation has to feature a T4TD image or sentiment! Hope y'all play along!!
By the way, my card today features the new release of Football Adam (Jo is based in the UK, so football means soccer for you Americans :)). He reminds me of when my eldest tried out soccer for the first time. I was inspired to do more of a CAS (clean and simple) style, and I thought these stickers from Amy Tangerine were perfect for the color scheme!
Anyway, I hope you all are having a wonderful day!!

April Showers.
Hello, everyone! I'm playing along with Some Odd Girl's April Showers Challenge on their Facebook group. The challenge is all about rain showers, umbrellas, and Spring flowers.
I've colored up the lovely Rainbow Fairy a while back, and thought she'd be perfect for this challenge. We've been having lots of showers here on our neck of the woods, and I've also been seeing a rainbow here and there. The kiddies get giddy when they spot them too, and I've got to admit, they are so beautiful to look at. I always try to take a picture but photographs don't do them justice.
Anyway, back to the challenge... I am a big fan of "mixing things up." I picked some cloud overlays from Hambly (again) as they are my current cloud patterned paper (and believe me, I've got tons of those). And thought these 3-D flowers from Sassafras were the perfect colors and embellishments for the Spring theme. They are a bit more shabby chic while Hambly is all about graphic lines. Am loving how they came together though to bring this pretty unique-looking card. Quite right for a Some Odd Girl challenge, am I right?? :)
Hope you all have an awesome day and I'll see you next week!
C.C. Designs' Birthday Blog Hop.
Happy Friday, everyone!
Today, I'm here to help greet C.C. Designs!!! It's their 7th Birthday, and that is such a phenomenal occasion!!
I dubbed myself lucky when the April releases happened to be about birthdays! You see, it's my birth month as well! So April is definitely a wonderful month to celebrate!
For CCD's 7th birthday blog hop, I made a card using Pollycraft Dotty. Isn't she cute? I used one of my fave color combos -- pink and green -- and made it very fun with the patterns and stickers! And of course, she is colored in with Copic Markers.
She is perfect for my God-daughter's upcoming birthday, which is also in April. :) :) :)
Anyway, please make sure you visit the C.C. Designs' blog and click on the other Design Team members' links! Happy 7th birthday to such an amazing stamp and craft company!!
Have a stellar weekend!

PollyCraft's Grant.
Hi, and you are here!! I'm showcasing the third day of previews for the April Releases at C.C. Designs. Now, it's Pollycraft's turn.
This little cutie-patootie is Grant, and he reminds me so much of my boys! Maybe it's the hair or the smile, but I think he's so sweet and cute! I just want to pinch that cheek!
I love how versatile these stamps are. Doesn't he blend perfectly in with this retro party? And if I had made a current scene, he'd fit in as well!
Well, as my birthday is drawing nearer, I'm picturing my boys looking like Grant when they greet me! :)
Hugs,
