Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
Ahhhhh, it feels good to create...
Especially after being on hiatus!
Today's post is about my little booger! Here he is at about 3 months, posing like a big boy for his Christening picture.
He did pretty well during this first professional portrait session ... considering I did ask the studio personnel to put angel wings on him. He he! More on this later!
The other good thing about this lay-out (besides the cute stinker pictured) is that I used old (like really old) products. Having moved, I purged a LOT of supplies but I also found some "aged" ones that needed to be re-debuted. (did i just make up a word?)
Everything (except maybe the lace looking sticker and glitter liner) is at least two years ago. I even added some from my square brads collection. The PP are from American Crafts and the tags are from Simple Jotters. I'm not sure where the lace sticker is from but I thought it added a nice texture -- I even added the remnants and backing strip at the top.
And remember those mesh paper? Really old, huh? That blue one is from Maruyama. Also added a collection of star buttons, star charms, baby pins (aren't those just darling?), and mini clothespins.
Have a fantabulous day!
Aww, what an adorable layout! Look how small and chubby MK was! I can't believe how fast time has gone by!
ReplyDeleteAwww....he's so cute! Love all the cute embellies on your LO!
ReplyDeletesoooo cute~~~ Love the mesh and all the elements. I need to start using old stash, too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie pie! Darling layout!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel good to use OLD stuff. Your MK is adorable... I'm so happy you'll have a happy space of your own to scrapbook...
ReplyDeleteAwww, he's so precious and the layout is gorgeous! Love the papers you used and your embellies couldn't be more perfect! Your handwriting is so cool, you definitely don't need to buy any sentiment stamps, you can just write them yourself!
