Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow?
Hi everybody! Can you believe it's AUGUST already??
Today, I wanted to play at TGF's WOW Sepia/ Brown Challenge.
I colored up Cheeky Cherry Pie in all browns and gave her a haircut! I think her bob looks super cute!
Wanted to pair her up with these Domestic Bliss patterned papers. I just looooove the aprons and electric mixers :).
It took a while to finish up this card, but I have to admit that I really like how it turned out!
Supplies:
Stamp- TGF's Cheeky Cherry Pie.
PP- Lily Bee Designs (Domestic Bliss).
Embellishments- Basic Grey.
Sentiment- Paper Smooches.
Misc.- Copics, Ribbon, Kraft Paper.
Speaking of hair cuts... ever heard of Locks of Love? It's a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to sick kids. My hair is the longest it has ever been, and I'm debating whether to wait or cut it now. Am not sure if I really want shoulder-length hair again. But I'm afraid if I stall, my hair might fall out because of all the hormones from nursing/ having the baby. The minimum length for Locks of Love is 10 inches. What to do, what to do...
Anyway, I hope you have a fabulous Monday!
Stay tuned for my next A Week in Rinne's Life post,
I love her bob! But maybe I'm biased since I've had my hair in a bob since December. Absolutely gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteCute card! I love how you colored her!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your hair cutting decision! I think either way is a win-win! I think Locks of Love would really appreciate a donation. :)
Rinne this is so perfect! Love the papers and her new hair do is adorable! Amazing card and an awesome take on the challenge!
ReplyDeleteI have never had hair long enough to do Locks of Love, I just can't stand it when my hair gets to my shoulders. But my aunt and a couple of cousins have done it, it's very cool!
