Chipboard.
Good morning, peeps!
Our challenge for Christmas Card Challenges (# 44) today is chipboard!
I went for the super simple route today. Hope you get to visit the blog for more DT inspiration. And I can't believe it's practically October already! Get your Holiday cards started with us!
And, darn! It finally caught up with me. Last week, my kiddies got sick and some work assignments were due. I only posted twice last week :(. I do have many cards made. Just gotta find the time to sit and type up my posts. Hoping I can catch up soon!
Have a wonderful Sunday,

Roadtrip anyone??
Hello, peeps!
I don't know about you, but I looooove to travel! Be it by air, or by car, I'm all for it. During my childhood, we didn't have a lot of luxury so vacations were always a big deal. We never went far so we always traveled by car. And because we had a big family who loved to sing, it was never boring. Actually, as a teen, sometimes, I'd block my family out by wearing my headphones. LOL!
Fast forward to my early 20s. My BFFs and I went to different colleges so I'd always try to visit them by car. I also started my Southwest frequent flyer miles going to Las Vegas or Arizona! Then, my BFFers in college would plan a trip to Palm Springs and Vegas again (hey, it's such a popular place!).
And then, when I met my DH in my mid 20s, his bro thought about moving to AZ. His BFF was already there. The housing market was booming. And you can get a 3000 square foot home for 1/3 the price of what it'd cost in the SF Bay Area. We did a lot of road trips there. Five adults in a little sedan in 100 + degree = not always fun!
My actual most favorite road trip was with my lil sis. She had a job interview in So Cal, and it was just the two of us. We belted our way there...as in, at the top of our lungs, the most ridiculous, highest notes in love songs! For me, it was stress free as I was just there for support. I was very into Yelp back then and looked forward to visiting new shops and restaurants.
Anyway, I haven't yet visited Europe, but I'll get there someday. Onto today's card: Doesn't Car Leo look cute? Am not quite happy with the way I colored his car, but let's just say it's not a new one.
The elements and design I used is more geared towards the scrapbooking world with the layering in one corner and the use of more than one sentiment. I do love how different it came out though. And how it captures my love of a good roadtrip!
Happy Travels!

Pink Holiday
Good morning, everyone! We've got an inspirational picture for you today at Christmas Card Challenges
Here's the photo. Isn't it so pretty? Someday, my tree will be as bright and as colorful too.
Sorry if this is short. And I usually comment on your CCC entries when I type up my post. But the fam and I are battling a virus. And if it's looking a bit weird here, I blame the new bloggaer interface!

Hottie.
What up, people?!
Here in the bay area of Cali, we are still in the 70s. It feels pretty much like Summer although the morning and night are starting to get cold. It's also starting to get darker sooner. I'm a bit excited about the change in season. The brisk air feels quite good but I do miss the more relaxed, carefree days of summer!
For my card today, I thought I'd say good-bye to the heat by coloring up this hottie from Saturated Canary. She is too cute, and Wow-wow-wow... so sexy!
I'm entering this card for the Saturated Canary Challenge #26...B's. My B's here are babe, brads, and bow!
I'm also experimenting a l'il bit with coloring faces and adding more dimension. Love how her skin looks so exotic. Doesn't she look Eastern Indian? I hope I can recreate the warm glow of her skin again!
See you later,

Hope You Feel Better Soon!
Hey guys, happy Monday!!
I am off from work and am in a great mood! I got a lot done on my to-do list! :) Hope you had a great weekend too!
For my DT card today, I've got Sick Leslie from Karber. I just love Leslie's big eyes and glasses. She is so adorable..but I do hope she feels better soon! LOL!
Speaking of Karber, they've got a great challenge going on at the blog: Challenge 50 is to use your favorite embellishment and a Karber stamp. The winner will get a $50 gift certificate (U.S. Dollars) to any online crafty store of their choice!!! Some of the digi Karber stamps are as low as $1.20. It is the ONE time I am sad that I'm part of a Design Team. Haha!!
You can buy the digital stamps by clicking here. Or if you would like rubber stamps, you could buy them at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps.
Pardon my coloring. Let's just pretend Leslie's room is filled with candlelight so there are lots of shadows. Am trying this new combination for my Copics on faces and I need to blend better or buy more ink! :)
Thanks for visiting,

Zebras and penguins.
Hello, peeps!
For this week's Christmas Card Challenge (#42), include animal prints on your Holiday cards!
Super tricky for me! I wanted to paper-pierce, but got too lazy.... errrr, busy (yeah, that's it!). Hee hee!
I used Some Odd Girl's stamps and added lots of bling. Ended up with a glam card.
I am diggin' it! :)
Please visit the CCC blog for more inspiration...I really love the other DT's takes on the challenge!
Toodles!

Sexy and Real.
Good mornin'!
So my card's a bit risque today. I hope it doesn't offend anybody. But this sultry Grey Tie from Saturated Canary pays homage to the books "Fifty Shades of Grey." You may have heard of it? It's not going to win prizes but it's very sexy and addicting.
Anyway, I applaud Krista for creating her, a real woman! :)
I'm entering this card for Saturated Canary's Challenge 25 - polka dots. I added some strawberries - picture them as chocolate covered :).
Anyway, I heard someone say stamping is only for conservative, older ladies .... really now? ;)
P.S. My sentiment is from Kelly Purkey...her stamps are perfect!!!

Soccer Jude and Mattie.
Hiya folks!
Every Monday, please stop by and see my post for Karber digi stamps. Berenice had asked all the Design Team members to pick the stamps they liked, and I couldn't help but choose Soccer Jude.
Mattie's preschool had hosted a few weeks of soccer, and I enrolled him in it. Jude reminded me so much of him! It's so cute to watch 2 to 3-year-olds play soccer, ha ha!
And I'm using another Kelly Purkey stamp as my sentiment. "This is How I Roll was perfect," I thought! :)
Here are some pics of my cute soccer babe! Via Instagram.
Have a fantastic Monday!

Starlight.
Hello on your side of the blog-o-sphere!!
It's September already? Wow, and people out there are actually starting to make Christmas cards....I love it!!!
For our Christmas Card Challenge this week (#41), it's all about stars!
This little elf from Make it Crafty is a bit mischievious-looking, eh? Kinda reminds me of my younger son, he he!
The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. Hope you get to see the work of the other DTs!
Love,

Glimmer.
Hi all!
Good Wednesday morning for you East- Coasters! And good evening for you on the West Coast!
I've made a little card for a patient. I accidentally wrote her name before I took the pic so I've covered it up here (see the white blob on the bottom right?). I try to personalize some of my cards after the photo to preserve confidentiality.
Anyway, I've done some altering here --
Glimmer Bean's head and the body of the one of the Roll Call kit gals.
I also followed the Deconstructed Sketch 67.
Have an awesome day!

Karber DT Announcement!
Happy Monday! Am super glad I'm off! For those of you living in the U.S., Happy Labor Day! It's so weird that nowadays, kids start school before Labor Day, even in August! When I was a kid/teen, I remember that back-to-school days always started after Labor Day.
Anyway, I've got an announcement to make! I'm sooo excited to say that I am now part of the Karber Design Team!
For those of you not familiar with Karber, it's a company full of adorable digi stamps! Its cute and happy characters are just my style! You may remember that I was part of the Karber DT with Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps last year. It already holds a special place in my heart!
For my debut card, I decided to go with Jenny Handcraft. You may remember this cutie from an old post (click here).
TEE-HEE-HEE!! She totally reminds me of myself...the full cheeks and Asian eyes :).
And my favorite part is she's crafting! Card-making, scrapping, stamping, coloring?? I LOVE IT!
I paired her with a bunch of my favorites! The Everyday Ecclectic papers from Echo Park, Kelly Purkey stamps, and even a cut-out heart from Amy Tangerine's line.
I am obsessed with chevrons right now...and I mixed that pattern with the colorful, graphic shapes and cameras (for my love of photography). And I love KP's stamps because they explain perfectly how I feel about my hobby.
And you know what is so good about Karber digital stamps? They are super cheap and a lot are on sale right now!
Anyway, thank you so much for visiting and reading about my news! Hope you visit the Karber blog to meet the other DT members.
Tata!

and a 1, and a 2, and a 3!
Hi peeps!
It's Sunday and it's time for another Christmas Card Challenge! Y'know I am so happy to be a part of this DT! I had been inspired to make a Holiday-themed card each week. And Christmas will be here before you know it, so I'm definitely glad that I've got lots of Christmas cards ready!
For Week #40, the challenge (which is always optional) is to use three of something. I used three snowflake embellishments. I also used three patterned papers.
(Stamped image and sentiment are from Some Odd Girl).
Hope you all get to play along!

Spookily gorgeous!
Good evening, everybody!
I know, I know...lately, it's been either Christmas or Halloween on my blog. LOL!
But, man, Make It Crafty has some really cute Halloween stamps in their store! Mini-Gothilia is eerily beautiful, isn't she? I can't stare at her too long because I spook myself out! Her eyes are mesmerizing but kinda freaky, aren't they? Yes, I know she's only a stamp but I'm a big scaredy-cat!! LMAO!
Have a great day!
