Give me some SAKE please!
Now this is what I call a really, REALLY late post! It's past 8 pm here Pacific time, and I'm finally blogging :).
As you can see, I took a picture of my card without my usual beloved sunlight. For me, I prefer taking pics during the day. My camera is not quite advanced enough to change that white balance to the point of my liking. And let's just say I'm not advanced enough to change it on photoshop either :). Actually, we don't even have PS anymore... my hubby somehow took it out of our computer. But let's move on, shall we?
Thank you so much for those of you who voted for International Ink at the TGF Royal Battle. We made it to Round 2!! Woot wooo!!! Kudos to Stephanie who created that retro beauty!
My card today (tonight) features one of my fave Kettos. Sake adorns a beautiful multi-colored dress. And what is that in the middle, you ask? Well, she accidentally *ahem*, had a spill... courtesy of a certain almost 10-mo-old. (Maybe I shouldn't have let him play with my Copics!HAHA!).
Besides her dress and her stance, I also love the pins in Sake's hair. So when I used the March TE kit, I had to use the lovely leaf pins again.
Have a great night everyone!!
*hugs*

Yours Truly
Good morning, fellow crafters and visitors! I hope you are all having a nice Tuesday morning.
My card today features stamps from TGF (sentiment, butterfly). The brad on the paper butterfly is from Fiskars (heidi grace), otherwise everything else is from the March Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kit. The colors of brown, mustard, teal, and green are so refreshing. I believe the PP are from Crate Paper.
My favorite parts are the leaf pins and both butterflies :).
I know that yesterday, I talked about my crafting budget and today, I have a card that features a new kit...LOL! Blame it on my enabler of a BFF, Jo, who have been creating such awesome cards with this kit...he he he! I just can't help myself sometimes. *sighs* :)
Have a great rest of the day!

Dream Home
Blogger is being a poo-poo head today and wouldn't upload my signature. Pardon the baby talk but I've caught my baby's cold / cough and am not feeling too hot.
Did I ever tell you why I'm on a crafting budget? The fam and I would love to have one of these like Jamie's. And if you say, "Well, now's the time to buy. It's a buyer's market." Not if you are a seller too. The DH & I have decided to keep saving this year and maybe we'll get our dream home next year. The condo is getting really small for our family of three but we are grateful of what we have now.
So, I shouldn't really buy lots of stamps. I told myself I'd limit myself to one or two a month and really use up my current supply of papers.
Anyway, that's why I got so excited when a co-worker asked to buy four of my cards! They're for another colleague who is getting married. They are to serve as keepsakes for her family for her upcoming shower / wedding. So if I'm selling, then I get to buy more, right? *wink wink*
The bride's wedding colors are pink and black. Thought I'd go for the simple route on the first one. Not one single stamp. The darker pink PP is from Creative Imaginations. The stickers are from EK Success (Jolie's) and the rhinestones are from Marcella K.
Am so tempted to open up an actual card boutique at my Etsy. But with my energetic almost 10-mo-old and my full time job, I am scared I may not be reliable at mailing cards out on time (& get a dreaded review! yikes!).
Enough with the babbling and the negative energy though...
When we do get THAT house (which I know we will soon), this idea for Mattie's future room / play area would be sooo cool!!!

Happy Sunday!
So I'm vying for the quickest post ever :).
We're late for church so here goes.
Used Maisy Ketto for this card. And more of the Love Elsie collection (awesome adhesive fabric houses)! The letters are from My Little Shoebox.
And please don't forget to view and vote for Team International Ink
here at the Royal Battle. Here's Stephanie's lovely card!
Happy Sunday!!

Edward & Bella
Today is a good day.
And i don't mean just good. I mean gooooooood good!
An unexpected day off from work. I feel slightly guilty but at least I got paid for almost half of it. :)
The sun is shining, the wind is breezy, and Target was not that crowded! Yes!! We even found some items for our big trip in the fall!
Anyway, I finally got to coloring Camille! I've been dying to make a Twilight-inspired card!
And since we're on the subject of Twilight, wanna hear something funny? I pre-ordered New Moon along with another DVD from Amazon. I selected free shipping and thought, "Wow! Such a good deal!" Well, while every one of my fellow Twilight-loving friends are gushing over watching the DVD, I'm stuck at home waiting for the mailman! Apparently, it won't ship till the other video comes out! BOO! Guess I just have to test my patience & keep waiting.
So back to the card...
This piece of jewelry is from a kol laj kit. It's so cool to be able to recycle broken bits of bracelets and earrings. For me, it adds such a charming touch to a card. You'll be seeing more of these types of 'charms' from me as I found a stash I've been hoarding *COUGH* ...ahem, I mean saving. He he!
I also used a lot of my stash of PP. The blue one with flowers is EK Success. The black one with white swirls is from 7 gypsies. The green one is from Basic Grey. The ribbon is from Heidi Grace Designs (Fiskars) and the brads/ stickers are from Dear Lizzy (American Crafts).
Peace out!

Boy or Girl?
Hola everyone! A friend is preggie and her ultrasound to find out the gender of the babe happens to be on her birthday. Won't that be the most amazing gift??
I made her this card and it was easy-peasy. The babies are from TGF. The cardstock, heart PP, lined PP and ribbon are from the love kit at TE. The banner PP is from American Crafts (Dear Lizzie), and the stickers are from sassafras. Some of the banners have glitter on them but too bad you can't see them here.
On another note, the royal battle at TGF is on its way. Stephanie, our team leader, has done a wonderful job creating a card for the first challenge. It has yet to be put up. Hope you check it out later and vote for it! Go Team International Ink!!
Have a great Friday!

aRt
Ok.
I've waited long enough...
Three years.
Ya think?
I FINALLY broke into my Love, Elsie Zoe collection. It's from 2007 and one of my favorite Love Elsie lines. Thought this painting cuppie stamp from Taylored Expressions was perfect for it.
The finished product has lots of different colors and designs. That's my mood for today. I think my cards always reflect my mood. Like today's is a controlled chaos. But full of happiness and completed tasks.
Later, I'll be heading to a very important meeting (*serious tone*). Right now though..I'm catching up on my favorite blogs. This is just breathtaking. And this is so true and made me laugh out loud!!!
Much love peeps,

I'm Hungry!
Happy Wednesday, folks! I've got another simple card for you from the weekend. It features two stamps from Two Scoops Rice Designs.
I've colored these two images a while ago. So I thought it's about time I made a card with them in it.
Super cute, huh? The stamps are fried rice and aloha musubi. One of my specialty dishes is fried rice. I love it, and it's so easy to make. Sautee some minced garlic, chopped up carrots, peas, corn (whatever veggies you like) and add some meat and voila! I add a bit of soy sauce as well to the rice concoction. I'm not quite sure what aloha musubi is...but I got the stamp because it's so adorable. I'm guessing it's a bit of rice with seaweed paper?
My favorite part of this card is the woodgrain tag I got from RVA. The grain was created by drawing on kraft paper with pink ink. So cool!!

If you can dream it, you can do it!
Hello everyone & thanks for visiting! So I've made a few simple cards and here's another one of them. If you're a regular visitor, you know that I tend to mix a lot of PP and textures. Today, however, I wanted to channel Sanny's style. Hers is very simple and full of details and textures at the same time.
The stamp that I used is by Jessica Fick over at Gina K. I love magical creatures, especially fairies and I am ecstatic hers look like anime characters!
For supplies, I used American Crafts CS, Deja Views PP, K&Co pearls, and Dear Lizzy brad. Some of you may notice (ahem, Amy! :)) that the PP I use tend to be either very new or very old. That is because I have been a scrapper for a very long time but have not always been diligent about it. So I have tons of supplies that I have not touched. I'm so very thankful that now, I get to make cards at least 3-4 times a week! Go Rinne's MOJO! hehe...
And so, for my birthday blog candy next month, I'll be giving away some new goodies mixed in with some old ones. :)
Have a magical Tuesday!~

Anything is Possible
Good Monday morning everyone! I have to apologize about the last post. I was so sleepy and out of it. But I was determined to have a card/ post so I typed on. Is it possible to be 'babbling' on a blog. Because that was what I was doing..hahaha!
Anyway, I hope you all had a nice weekend! My little fam and I stayed at a relative's home about an hour away. I managed to grab some card supplies and made a couple of simple & quick cards.
The stamp and sentiment are from TGF. The lovely fabric paper that has polka dots is from Dear Lizzy (American Crafts). So is the 'bling' brad. There's also a bit of Japanese masking tape.
Hope everyone has a great rest of the (Mon)day. Baby boy has a bit of a cough so it's a low-key day for us. I'm planning on watching "Everybody's Fine" on DVD. It should be interesting as I like all of the actors/actresses in the movie. My online self- evaluation for work is also due so I'll be spending some time on the computer. Hope to get some crafting time later on but I doubt it. But I'll see you back here tomorrow for another blog post!

Birthday Girl
What a curious little girl, this Amelia from TGF. She is plaYing with that strand of stars and has no idea it's her birthday!
Had fun here! Used lots of awesome methods-- inked and colored two sets of heads to achieve that 3D look. Had used my Martha Stewart punch. Also played around with metallic rub-ons and PP from 3 years ago (Autumn Leaves and Heidi Grace).
Gotta go. it's not easy blogging on an iPhone in a moving car. And I'm falling asleep... It's my hubby who's driving, don't worry. But am so sorry for the short post. Am hoping I'm making some sense here...

Time for Cake!
Sorry this post is so late, peeps! I've had a busy morning (errands, appointments, mama duties...). And now, I've got five minutes to blog as today is my Mother-in-law's birthday celebration.
Used Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge # 19. Starring Kraftin' Kimmie's Francesca. Luv her hat and cupcakes!
I also found some metallic rub-ons from Craft-T Products in my closet. See them on the cupcakes? Sorry for the blurry pic but you get the idea...
Used some PP from her craft line. Such great Spring goodness. Speaking of, my birthday's about a month away.. right smack in the middle of Spring. I've got an extra rub-on set that'll be part of a bday blog candy :). Stay tuned!
Have a great rest of the day!

Cuties
Hello blogworld cuties! The l'il man is finally taking his nap and I get to blog about my card for today!
There was this cute little redhead at work yesterday. She's three and had pigtails of copper goodness! I was so in love with the color of her hair. Decided to use my red copics for Oliver. Wish I could re-create that patient's hair but I don't have all of the Copics (yet!).
Anyway, Oliver is just so adorable with his hair and his dinosaurs! Matched bright paper with his hair -- American Crafts (kites) and Scenic Route (circles). The sentiment is hand-written.
When I look at this card, I imagine the l'il one walking and talking (real words, that is!). He's 9 months now and so full of personality. When he hears music from the radio, tv, or me, he starts dancing! He even started groovin' to the church choir on Sunday. Haha! I love it! Still not crawling but scooting a lot and pulling himself up.
And here he is about a month ago, tearing up my J.Crew catalog and making a mess. And also playing with my Copics :).
Have a great one!

Curiouser and Curiouser
Hello, hello! So I've been to Wonderland and back...and now went to Wonderland again to see the adult Alice.
I must say that Tim Burton did a great job. I enjoyed the movie and it was visually stunning! Johnny Depp was fabulous! Although there was one part of the movie I was disappointed in. I was so looking forward to the tea party but it was so short. And it lacked the old one's pizzazz and antics. I would still recommend seeing it though.
Today's card is for the Oh, Alice! Picturing Wonderland challenge this week. It's a sketch and I've used Alice Drink Me stamp by Elaine Cox from Sweet Pea. I really like her drawings of Alice -- she looks so curious and innocent.
The patterned paper are from American Crafts (multicolored swirling stripes) and Basic Grey. The letter stickers are from My Little Shoebox and the button/brads are from Doodlebug Design Inc.
On another note, I'm excited to be part of a group for TGF's upcoming team challenges. Sunghee invited me, and Tanya, Sheena, and Stephanie are in our team! It's so cool to meet new people!
Have a great Sunday!

Flirty Thirty
Good moooooooorrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiinnnnnnnng, Blogging WORLD!! I am in quite a fabulous mood today! Hope it's the same for you!
For FFF, it's time to make a birthday-themed card. I'd like to wish Marie (TGF's creator & owner) a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And since it's her 30th...it's Happy Dirty, Flirty, Thirty!! Chose Cheeky Rockability because she is definitely a l'il flirty!
Used my stack for some fun and vintage-y papers! The striped is from Cosmo Cricket, the peach one is from Frances Meyers, and the bday-themed one is from ki memories. Added some American Crafts brads and here's my version of an uber FLIRTY THIRTY card!
Today, we've got two kids' birthday parties to go to plus the fight tonight! Have a great Saturday!

Paint the Roses Red
Good mornin', everyone! Hope you're having a great Thursday morning so far!
My card today is for the Oh, Alice!'s Chapter THREE challenge. Base your card colors on these nail polishes:
Had so much fun with reds, dark pinks, blues, and purples! I think these colors together are regal.
This is also the first time I played with Charlotte from Kraftin' Kimmie. I LOVE her! Kinda made her look like the Red Queen as she is crazy but cute! It's also my take on motherhood...hehe!
Don't get me wrong...I LOVE being a mama but there are some days you just wanna pull your hair out! Look at Charlotte. She is on the brink of madness with that left eye twitching and her left foot tapping on the ground :). It is a wonderful feeling -- to love somebody THAT much. But I am so grateful for my stamping and my job. They keep me ME and give me serenity (ok...my job does not always make me calm). Still, nothing beats the feeling you get when your baby smiles at and cuddles with you.
This card also features FIVE patterned papers. That's a lot..even for me! It's for
Amy's Paper Crazy Challenge over at CA&F. Although I did not use any TGF stamps. The papers are from:
1. kol laj (purple and dark pink with blue flowers).
2. Reminisce (red with dots).
3. American Crafts (quotes).
4. KI memories (striped).
5. *not sure* (Sentiment).
Too bad the sparkles on the purple kol laj paper do not show. And I chose busy, but pretty papers because that is exactly how motherhood is :)... beautiful and chaotic!

Lifesaver
Happy Tuesday, everyone! Pardon the picture..the sun was hiding when I took it. Here's another card I made during our mini vacation. Super quick and simple.
The image is from the lovely Sunghee again (thank you)! The sentiment is hand-written and I used a bunch of my scraps!
Sorry to run! I'm working today!

Vacay Withdrawals
You know when you get into a funk the day(s) after a vacation? I always go into withdrawal mode! The longer the get-away is, the harder it is to stop daydreaming about the shenanigans I've done during the previous days.
But it also feels good to be home. Back to the routine. And I'm thankful to have one more day off before hitting the grind tomorrow. So about our trip to Lake Tahoe -- Let's see....there were nice days in the snow, lots of picture taking, great time with friends, yummy food. But unfortunately, no jacuzzi dips :(.
I forgot a bunch of things. Like my bathing suit. I was not about to go in there in my underwear. Or my long johns.
I forgot the white noise maker which we specifically bought for our trip. Bummer! Good thing Mattie didn't really wake up when the crowd went wild at night. Not party-wild. More like wild over Cranium and Twilight board games. Am a Twilight fan, but I have to say Cranium was so much fun!
I'm getting old. Hehehe.
Anyway, my card today features the cute little Baby Bunnies Chick from Amy's Sweet November Line. ATS had so many Easter stamps to choose from. But chicks have a soft spot in my heart. They remind me of the chicks I used to play with at my Grandfather's farm!
Uh-oh, I hear the babe calling me.. See you tomorrow!

Cute as a Button
Yay for Thursdays! I can't wait to watch their baby coming into the world today. I've been rooting for Jim and Pam since the beginning! I also want to watch ABDC. Can't wait to see what the crews come up with dancing to Lady Gaga!!
But I may only see a part of the shows as we still have to pick up our car rental. I'm also quite nervous about packing for our mini trip. *sigh* Last time for Disneyland, I was so scared of over-packing that I actually underpacked.
This time, we are heading towards snow. Anybody out there have tips on what to pack for a 9-month-old baby? We're not used to snow where we live and so far, I've packed a snowsuit, a couple of hats (that cover the ears), gloves, a pack & play, and a saucer (so that he has something to sit on when we are outside). Am still debating whether or not to bring my ergo... how the heck will my 'bundle of clothes' fit in there after layers and layers and then a snowsuit?!
Anyway, thought I 'd take a break from packing and tell you about my card today. The lovely Sunghee has graciously sent me this Gorguss image.
I've mixed some items I had from a class at Suzy's old store (the sentiment, button, string and beads) with patterned paper from Fiskars (heidi grace designs circa 2007!). The blue flowered one and the beads are my favorite parts of the card. That paper had sparkles -- you can see it better at the pic below. And I just LOVE adding a bit of homemade bead-y bling to the card! I threaded the beads into a thin wire & voila!
Ooops! Pardon the bit of uncolored image that is showing. I knew I should've cut that out!
See you next week!

Thank Goodness for a Mini-Getaway!
Happy Hump Day, everyone! Today is actually my Friday so I'm very happy!
I have another Swiss Pixie image from Jo. I also used a TGF sentiment (I think it's from Talk Out Loud). The fabrics behind it is from kol laj. The flowery PP is from Sonburn Designs and the red binder PP is from Creative Imaginations. The mini brads are from k.i. memories and the frame is Bampop! I also used stickles on her wings.
So I may not see you all till next week. We're going on a little trip and it all depends on whether I actually have time to craft something tomorrow. Who knows? Maybe I'll get to make a card or two in between the snow fights and the jacuzzi dip (ahhh, I'm getting relaxed just thinking about it!). :)
