Happy Monday and end of September, peeps!!
Alas, it is also my last day as a design team member at Some Odd Girl. It's been a pleasure and an awesome experience!!
For my very last featured SOG DT project here, I wanted to show you the Project Life spread that each DT member was asked to do. Basically, we were to make two pages about who we are, what we love, what we do using SOG stamps. Needless to say, I loved this assignment!
Here's my two page spread:
And closer looks on each side:
XOXO! And thanks so much for visiting!

Challenge 25 at Y&FH: Photo Inspo
Hi all!
It's time for a new challenge at Yumi and Fumi Handmade! Challenge 25 is all about a photo inspiration:
Isn't it super gorgeous and serene? I just love the colors, the Asian theme, the romantic feel and composition of the picture!
Here's my take:
The green and pink don't exactly match the beautiful shades in the pic, but I've been wanting to use this My Little Shoebox line. I picked Fumi with Gift from the Kimono Series. Isn't she so pretty? And of course, I had to add in some eye make-up...teeeheee!
I hope you get to visit the Y&FH blog and see more DT inspiration from the rest of Team Yumi!
Arigato and Sayonara (Thank you and Good-bye in Japanese),

Happy Bday to Denice!
Hello all!
And welcome to the Yumi and Fumi Handmade blog hop for one of the DT coordinators, Denice!!
Belated Happy Birthday to you, Denice!!
And since she makes such fantabulous tags, I thought I'd make one for her blog hop! I used Summer Yumi. Man, it was super cold today! I sure am missing summertime, but am glad to be able to wear jackets and cardigans again!
But enough about summer, sorry about the tandem thought. Please go to the Yumi and Fumi Handmade blog to hop along as we wish D a great one!
Tata!
P.S. I love those Inkadinkado Kid Quotes Rubber Stamps!

Sealed with a ....
Hi all!
I've been doing a lot of what I think are pretty simple, one to two layered cards. I was in the mood to be ecclectic and go for a lot of embellishments. This is where this card came along featuring one of the prior August releases from Time for Tea Designs - SWALK digi. I think that stands for "Sealed with a Little (or Long?) Kiss." Don't quote me on that though as I am not quite sure, hehehe.
I don't know about you but I get really excited when I receive Happy Mail! It's so nice when you get a hand-written note or card from somebody. I also like getting packages, LOL!
I thought I'd make this one pretty romantic, and focused on the color red for Love.
Hope you have a wonderful evening!

Hello? Hello!!!!
Hola peeps! Happy Hump Day!
I came across this one artist's stellar work from an Instagram friend. Le Petit Elefant is the company of Genevieve Santos, a young Filipina artist whose art is fun, sincere, and describes my childhood and family to a tee!
I created a card for my good friend's wedding out of her Tin Can Telephone Rubber Stamp set. I love this image because it epitomizes the playfulness and innocence of youth! I don't know about y'all, but I totally made phones like these with my sibs and cousins and friends!!
I especially love how you can customize the sentiment between the two lovebirds with the red pencil that's included. I really enjoyed adding in my handwriting and own design on the card. And you guys know how important being unique is to moi. :)
I hope my friend and her now-hubbs loved it as much as I do. I paired it with some of the new Glitz Designs paper that are on trend right now. Mixing a bit of classic with the now = awesomeness, don't ya think? I also colored the stamped images with Copic markers, although they look just as lovely as black and white.
Anyway, gotta work manana! See you soon!

YoHO yoHO...
YOHOHOHO..A pirate's life for me!!!! Remember that song from Peter Pan?
Pirate Tobie is the new digital stamp release for today (as well as the Wave Layers Cut File) from Some Odd Girl. Sadly, this will be my last post as a SOG DT member but nevertheless, I've come to show you a typical Rinne Creations. And, boy, did I want to go out with a BANG! I mean, did you see all the embellies I piled on here? Hee hee hee! Whimsical, cute, and different...that's how I like to describe my style. I'm sure you noticed that there's a bit (ok, a lot) of pink on this! I just love this paper line (forgive me, I do not know where this was from but it's been at least five years ago).
There's a lot more of Pirate Tobie (AARRRRRGGGGHHHH) to be seen on the following blogs:
Katie, Mila, Rachel, MP, and Rene.
You can view the new Wave Layers Cut File on Judy's and Rene's blogs too.
I'm sure going to miss working with the lovely crew of SOG. Thanks so much for the opportunity, Kristy and Leah! I had a blast and learned so much!!
See ya laters, mate,

Here comes Frankencutie!!
Happy Friday, everyone!!
It's been kinda gloomy here lately. It's colder than it has been, I guess I do have to say good-bye to Summer 2013 now :). I'm in a funky mood as I'm in the middle of a long stretch at work (which has been super hectic). The crafting mojo and the fitness mojo have been low. I had been doing great with exercising over the past couple of weeks but I've hit a plateau with my weight loss. Going on 38 pounds and strong though. I gotta keep telling myself that.
So on this lazy day, I thought I'd catch up on my blogging and show y'all another sweet digi image from the September release over at Time for Tea Designs! Isn't she adorbs? She's Frankencutie, and I love her name and... well, everything else about her! LOL! Her pose, her expression, her clothes!
And you know, I always try to be different. So instead of green, I colored her a bright blue!! See you all soon!!
Love,

The Mad Scientist and the Witch!
It's Tuesdayyyyyyyy!!! And time for new digital stamps and cut file releases at Some Odd Girl! Make sure you head on over the SOG blog because I wrote up the post today :). We've got two digi stamps (which I have examples of here) and a new background cut file too. Here are Mad Scientist Tobie and Cauldron Tia.
Please pardon the date stamp. I accidentally put 2014! I thought a little lab scene would be good for Mad Scientist Tobie here. And can you hear him cackling his EVIL LAUGHTER? ***BUWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA** Lol!
I added that cute little shortie Frankenstein too! Ain't he precious?
And I wanted to make an adorable-looking witch! Cauldron Tia is quite powerful though, and she's got a dark side of course!!
Make sure you peep in the little blog hop we've got going on on the SOG blog, too! Lots of inspo from the other DT peeps! Some of the lovely ladies have projects for the new Star / Moon background cut file as well!
See you all very soon!!

Christmas in September.
Good Sunday morning, everyone!!
It's time for another Yumi and Fumi Handmade Challenge. Challenge # 25 is to make a 'Christmas in September' tag. Here's my take:
Now it's not your usual tag with a ribbon. It's the kind that's like a mini card that you adhere to the present. It's much smaller than my usual 5x5 or 6x6 card :), so it was quite refreshing to try something new.
And who is featured but the lovely Yumi, of course (I am Team Yumi afterall, lol!). Nah, seriously. This reminded me so much of my regular outfits in college. A hooded sweatshirt (the kind that was actually flattering and not oversized, if there was such a thing) and black pants! And big hoop earrings! :) :) :)
The Christmas part comes in the papers I got of the Glitz Designs Finnley series. I love how it's Christmas-y but also good for other non-Holiday projects! I did add the Jolee's present stickers to make it a bit more Holiday-like.
Remember that you've got two weeks to play! Team Fumi will be showing you more inspiration next week. In the meantime, please visit the rest of Team Yumi:
Rosie,
Cebelica,
Olivia,
Taylor,
Lisa
What's up for grabs? A $10 gift certificate to the Y&FH store!! Plus, you get to use any stamped image you want. How cool is that? We'd love it though if you could play along using a Y&FH if you already have one!
Have a great day!

So if you care to find me, look to the Western skies.....
Happy Hump Day, folks!
I'm here to show you one of the September digi releases from Time for Tea Designs. Witchy Flight looks too sweet for me to be an evil witch so I fashioned her after Wicked, the musical. She is Elphaba, and her goodness is an untold story *teehee*.
She is quite happy to be free and flying amongst the ghouls and goblins during Halloween! I do like making scenic cards, right? :). And she is so very fun to color up!
I mentioned having a little debate in my head about my boys' costumes for Halloween. They have scrubs that are personalized so I can make them doctors or even male nurses. They also have a Superman and a Batman raincoats that I could also use when it gets cold. I still am thinking about what other costumes I could get for them. But really, I should be saving some money, don't ya think?! It's just in the past, I love going all out for this Holiday!
How about you? What is your or your kids' costumes going to be this year?

Vampiress!
Hi everyone!
I dunno about y'all, but in my neck of the woods, Halloween is in full effect. The stores are full of them, and my brain is debating about costumes for the kiddos. The good news is I've got Halloween mojo too! So I was stoked when I saw Some Odd Girl's new digi release - Vampiress.
I think she is super cool. I love her Victorian, but ultra hip clothes. Those fangs and that facial expression are eerie but lure you in! I decided not to make her too cute-sy so I colored her that gray skin tone and gave her white eyes! Oooooooooooooooooooooohhh! Lol!
I also wanted a little scene. Nothing better than a Haunted House for a Halloween card, right? And that bejeweled spider fit the bill, I thought. Her hair is that pop-py bright violet because she's one sassy little thing! I also wanted her clothes to be dark but memorable so deep reds and purple and greys were the way to go.
Here's what she looks like in a more CAS card.
Today, the other DT members are also showing another release - the Web background cut file. Please go the the following DT blogs:
Tab,
Anna,
MP,
and Leah C.
And for Vampiress, go to the blogs of
Katie,
Tab,
Angie,
Mila,
and Leah C.
Toot-a-loo!

Apple for Teacher.
Hiya everyone!
I hope you are all having a fab week! For my card today, I am featuring Time for Tea Design's new release for September: Apple for Teacher. She is absolutely darling! And I just love her glasses and her long skirt! She totally pulls off that cute and sexy librarian look, don't ya think? :)
So fitting for the beginning of the school year too! We've had drama already regarding my son's preschool, but I hope that it gets better from here on out. If it's this stressful for preschool, I can just imagine what parents of high schoolers are going through!!!
Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful evening. I am so busy this month. With my son's activities (new class of Taek Won Do) and I'm starting to work out, I am trying my best to squeeze in some crafting time. It's getting difficult though. But I am excited for new ventures!
See you soon!

i LOVE Astro Tobie!
Hello, everyone!! I've got two SOG-y cards to show ya today! Let's get started now, shall we?
The first one is of Astro Tobie, the newest digi stamp release over at Some Odd Girl!
I just love this stamp! I have this thing for astronauts! My sis, Kristine, had wanted to be an astronaut for years! Mattie was an astronaut for his first Halloween! So I was ecstatic when Kristy made this image!
I gotta admit that I love how this card came out. I really do love making scenic cards, and I was so relieved to find more of this October Afternoon Rocketship line!!! After all, I used a whole bunch on this other astronaut project for PWCO. (I made that album while I was still preggo with Oli so astronauts definitely bring out something very sentimental in me :)).
And lookie here! I even gave Tobie a real helmet! Haha! Y'all remember this technique, right? Yup! Glossy Accent glue!
The other DT gals also have got a new cut file to show ya! Star Fall Background Cut File can be seen in the blogs of Vera, Anna, Rachel, MP, Leah C.
Astro Tobie can be seen in the blogs of MP, Judy, Leah C.
In other news, there's a fun challenge going on at the SOG Ning Community! Make a project using a sentiment only (it has to be prominent!). Play by 9/8, 8 pm EST and you can win a 3x4 stamp and a CHA catalog! Such great prizes!!
Here's my take:
Of course, it had to be something I could color. This card is very much vintage like. And I just realized that the tone of the above cards make those look a bit vintage-y too!
Enjoy today!!

Y&FH Challenge 23.
Hello all!
Happy Labor Day! Here's Challenge 23 for Yumi and Fumi Handmade! The goal is to make a project that is back to school related!
I wanted to make something for my son and for our Project Life album. I've made sure the card will fit in one of the pockets. Doesn't AJ with Dragonfly look like he's sitting at a desk? :)
Hope you get to play along! P.S., I accidentally put 2014 instead of 2013. Doooohhhhhhhhh!!!
See you soon!

SOG's September Sketch Challenge and Card Swap.
If you are looking for my Yumi and Fumi Handmade birthday blog post, please go HERE or scroll down.
Hello, folks! It's the first of the month, and that means another super duper cool-io sketch challenge over at Some Odd Girl!
Here's my take, with the sentiment location off a bit. I don't know why but I always like to be just a little different. :)
I also made this card for a card swap that we were having at the Some Odd Girl community. I gave it to Miss Alexis of Digital Lace.
I used Artist Mae for the image and sentiment. But I also went a step further and made my own patterned paper and used the heart and circle in Deer Mae.
I incorporated a lot of neon here... neon ink as well as neon splatters. And there are lots of varying textures from the cork behind her to the glittered arrows.
I hope Alexis loved her card. Because I am quite happy with how it turned out!
Have a great day, everyone! Make sure you go to the SOG blog for more rules and details on this challenge! We'd love for all of you to play along (SOG stamps are a must!).
