Mommy Lhey Design Team Call Submission 2015

Hi all!

Long time, no see! I'm here, busy trying to balance being back to work after maternity leave! It's just like a woman/ mother who thinks she can have it all, huh? Well, why not? *wink wink*

Today, I'm here to showcase my recent projects to apply to the Mommy Lhey DT Call. MLD probably is my favorite planner stamp company.. Lhey has got the cutest Kawaii style and I love LOVE her handwriting!

I'd love to be part of her team and be able to use and inspire with her products on my Project Life pages (shown here), my cards, and of course, my planners!

Here's Week 7 of my PL. Valentine's pages are so delightful to me. Maybe it's the colors, or the sentiments, but they sure stir a lot of happy emotions!





The pages have stamping with the dates and some words. I feel that Mommy Lhey Designs would look so cute on these pages too -- can't wait to get my orders of her May releases! And since I feel one of my strengths in my craft is coloring stamps... here's another project I joined in on.

Anybody heard of the Daily Marker 30 Day? This was the one back in March by Kathy. It was a lot of fun and provided a lot of practice time for me. She's actually hosting a part 2 right now as well.





Can't wait to make cards with these or incorporate them in my project life/ scrapbooking/ planners!!

Baker Girl.

Hi all!

Long time, no see!! I've been busy trying to enjoy the last couple of months of my maternity leave so sorry for the lack of posting/ crafting. If you follow me on Instagram (@rinnesbliss), you know I've been keeping up with my Project Life, my coloring, and even some journaling.

Now, it's time to show you some inspiration on Time for Tea Designs' latest releases. This card features Baker Girl and it's for my God-daughter's birthday this past month. I used to love baking, but now am lacking the time. I should really pick it up again though.




Thought this paper was a lot of fun! And I used baker's twine in the middle.

Vet Girl

Hello all!

Time for Tea Designs has great new releases! I got to work with "Vet Girl," and if you love animals, you have to get this cute digi stamp. Just look!!




I've paired her up with some fun Love, Elsie patterned papers (remember those?) and some wooden dog veneers from Color Cast Designs. I really like this card!



And isn't this stamp just darling? I know she is supposed to be a Vet, but her scrubs remind me of what I do as well!

Not your typical Fairy.

Happy Sunday, folks!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far! Here in California, the weather is mild and it rained for a short bit yesterday. No complaining here though as I know our friends on the East Coast and Midwest are experiencing mega chilly temperatures.

For my project today, I have a card for Time for Tea Designs' newest release. I've used Flower Fairy 1 - she's got a bit of shorter hair and I've used her for my little sister's birthday card.

Now, my l'il sis is not little at all -- of course, she's three to four inches taller than me and she's a full grown woman. But, y'know, I will always call her that :). I had to step up my game here as she is a graphic designer and has such a great eye for design.



Usually, my fairy cards are ultra-femme and has a lot of flowers, both of which are not to my sissy's liking. But I had to work with this image and had to stay true to the digital stamp's theme as well. Thought Amy Tangerine's scrapbooking lines were perfect. They still have foliage yet they're linear so I think my hip sis would approve.



Well, I better catch some Zzzz's before the little babe wakes up. Hope you get to visit the T4TD blog for more inspiration.

Beautiful Bump.

Happy Sunday, everyone!!

My sis-in-law just had a birthday! She's pregnant and they are keep the gender a surprise so I decided to use Time for Tea Designs' Beautiful Bump digi.



She loves anything vintage so I used products that reflect that. I believe the toy embellishments are from Crate Paper. The honeycomb patterned paper is a freebie at Jo's blog (click here).

Hello there!!

Wanted to show you a couple of pages I've been working on. But, first, did you know that there's a DT call happening at Time for Tea Designs?? Read more here! Jo is the best! Not only are her images so adorable and relatable, they are so fun to color and create with! And Jo is so laid back!

Onto my new project now... Project Life 2015! Am really hoping to finish this time. Especially since I have a new babe:









All photos are mostly from my Instagram account and printed from the app, Kanvess. I gotta keep things simple and fast. I'm on maternity leave right now but when I have to go back to work, the process has to be fairly easy!

Mostly all of the supplies were from the January 2014 and 2015 Studio Calico PL kits.

Happy Valentine's Day, y'all!!

I've got a special project to show you that features T4TD's new digi, "We're Expecting."



This time, I included her into a project life creation rather than a card. Above is a card depicting what I was feeling when I found out we were pregnant!



And here's a page for all the preggo selfies I took (aka "preggsie," LOL!!). Thought it would be fun and also memorable since this was my last pregnancy.

Hello There!

Hi all!!

I'm baaaaaccckkkk!! Wow! I didn't realize that I was gone for so long! I had a good reason for my break from the blog / craft world though....

I had a baby girl!!

Her name is Abby Iris, and we had her mid December.

Now that I'm getting more sleep, I thought I'd get back into crafting again. And good timing too, since Time for Tea Designs is having a special sale for Valentine's!! The code on Jo's site is good for one week only. And she's got a freebie mini kit too!! Super cute! Check it out here!

I got inspired to make a Valentine's Day for my hubby. I used one of Jo's earlier stamps -- Fall Love. Love her sweater!

It's time for another Milk Coffee Challenge, and this time, it's my favorite kind of card-making style: Layering it Up! I just love mixing up patterned paper and embellies and adding dimension!

October Review over at CCD!

Hi peeps!

I've got not one, not two....but THREE cards for you today! It's time for a review on the October Releases of C.C. Designs!

First is Rodney's Ride. Isn't he the cutest? Love him and his quirkiness! I paired him up with the equally cute and quirky line of Love, Elsie! Boy, was I hoarding this Christmas line! I think it's from 2006.



Because of the colors of the patterned paper, I chose this whimsical and colorful tree sticker by Jolee's as well!



What a fun Holiday so far, eh??

Next is the Bird image from the Vintage Winter stamp (you get three images!). What a darling birdie! I wanted this card to look a bit more classic so I used traditional Poinsetta stickers and papers. And of course, that gold embossed card stock too!





Then, last, but not least is the Holiday Penguins!



I can't get over how adorable they are!! Too cute!!

Mini Sprites in the Cupboard!

Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Today is C.C. Designs' day to highlight the oh-so-cute stamps of Make It Crafty, and today I've got a card featuring one of the mini sprites!

Isn't she so pretty? She reminds me of The Littles, do you remember that cartoon? So I thought I'd pair her up with mason jars as she is so tiny. She's playing in the pantry here :). I thought these printables from Shanna Noel are just delightful with her! (I love everything SN does!).

It's time for C.C. Designs' preview of their new releases this month! Today, it's all about those Roberto's Rascals. This cute and hilarious stamp is called Roberto's Kisses, and it'll be available come October 2nd!



I just love love love this stamp. It's so adorable, and that cat's facial expression says it all, LOL!!!



I have not yet bought any new Christmas papers... these are all from the previous years. I've compiled my Holiday papers and stickers into one box, and it's so helpful picking out what I want and a good way to use up those scraps!

Hello, hello, hello!!

And welcome to Milk Coffee's 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop!!
