A Week in Rinne's Life - Day 7

Hi everybody! It's officially the last day of my A Week In My Life. Although tedious at times, it was tons of fun to do. And I look forward to going back to these pics and posts in the future. I'll definitely be doing this again and I hope you'll join in.

Fried rice for brunch. Take eggs + rice + whatever meat you have in your fridge + any veggies you have = ingredients :). In this case: peas, corn, kosher hotdog, chicken apple sausage.

A Week in Rinne's Life - Day 6

Day 6 of my version of A Week in the Life. My day 6 was Sunday, July 31st. I'm almost there...got one more day to go!

Lessons learned for next time - I gotta be more prepared. Having a newborn and not being able to drive definitely limited my days and outings. Also, I would've liked to have written down more words/ feelings/ observations. Ooooh, and jotting down concurrent world events would make it more interesting too!

Anyway, here are my pics:

Got caught "closing my eyes" for more than a minute there. Oli is wondering, "Hellooooo, wake up mommy!"

In the wee hours of the morning, I watched my DVR recording of Nick & Vanessa's Wedding. So very sweet and romantic. Makes me wanna get married again. Or at least visit that amazing island!

Poor little guy had a tough night. Good thing today is a much better day.

I think Oliver has a lot of gas because I've been eating too much dairy. Drank soy milk here. Or perhaps I'll cut down on the ice cream :), LOL!

Got to try out a lot of the scrapping tools I've had for a while. Here's the piercing tool from Sew it Easy. More on this with a later blog post.

A Week In Rinne's Life - Day 5

It's Saturday, July 30th, and I'm on my fifth day of A Week in the Life. The day consisted of:

1. Fun in the bath.

2. Cute shoes for boys.

3. Going to my parents' for lunch.

4. My mom cooked food tailored for post-partum women/ milk-production. Lots of soupy dishes with veggies and protein, mussels.

5. Blurry pic of my mom giving Mattie a piggy back ride.

6. Going to my LSS and meeting up with Suzy, Ashley, and Jo (who hooked me up with a ride! Thanks, girlie!).

7. Buying some cupcakes. I got to taste the chocolate with strawberry mousse and a vanilla with ganache.

8. Then, tagged along some more with Jo and her daughter, M, and picked up some dinner at my favorite Hawaiian joint.

9. M is sooo adorable!

10. Home with my boys (the little one has a lot of gas :().

A Week in Rinne's Life - Day 4.

Oh boy, was I slacking yesterday...

For my fourth day (7/29) of A Week in the Life, I barely took pictures. It was a hot and lazy day.

The day consisted of playing with the neighborhood kids, watching Project Runway season 9, eating left-overs, and taking over the living room to craft.
