Harajuku Lover & a Prize!

Good Thursday afternoon, folks!

It feels great to be able to craft and post today! I've got a tiny card here featuring Blush Bonnie & Crate Paper goodness.

I am inspired today to mix and match different textures and patterns! From the fuzzy edges made by my new distressing tool to the smoothness of that American Crafts flower sticker.

And since I am a HUGE fan of Japanese culture, I wanted to style Miz Bonnie like a Harajuku girl. :)

In other news, I WON!!!!!!

Remember this lay-out? Well, it had the most number of votes for the month of May in my local scrapbooking store:

My prizes are a $20 gift certificate and a free crop. Cool, huh? I am so, so happy!!

Cross your fingers that my luck continues with the other contests that I'm entering ;).

Toodles,

Blushin' Bonnie

IMG_1703

Top of the mornin' to ya, peeps!

I was in the mood to do a little vintage-style card so out comes Blush Bonnie from my TGF stamps' storage.

I was also inspired to try this new color combo of copper and turquoise so I went with it!

The PP are from Pink Paislee's House of Threes (turquoise) and Sassafras (plaid). The lace ribbon is from Bo Bunny. The digi frame is from PWCO. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

I followed Sketch # 8 at the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. Here's a close-up of Miss Bonnie:

Beautiful Blush.

IMG_1596

When I saw the new Blush Society at TGF, I knew I had to spend my gift certificate that Jo gave me for my birthday.

Something about the pixie-like faces, long flowing hair, and vintage vibe bring so much charm to me. For Blush Babette, I thought these papers from Authentique would be perfect.

Especially since these lovely petals could be curled up to add more dimension! Yellow + gray = a new fave combination of mine.

The stamps were smaller than I thought but they still leave a dynamic impression! Added a flower from Prima and a leather ribbon from Bo Bunny. And I adore the Blush Hello background, stamped with Ranger's Jenni Bowlin ink.

Have a rad Friday!
