JoYful Win!

IMG_2380

Good Monday morning, everyone!

FlickR was acting up last night so I apologize if my picture is miniscule. I couldn't upload and edit my pic correctly so I'll be adding the revised one later. (added and revised it).

Today, I'm using another cute Fairwee - it's Fairwee Josie from Sweet November by Amy Young.

Doesn't she look all blissful sitting on the lovely cluster of flowers without a care in the world? She has that look of satisfaction, I tell ya!

I am loving these foldies from Sassafras. The flowers have guides on where to fold to give them dimension. I really love cards with lots of textures!

The rest of my supplies are from Bazzill (CS) and Neenah (CS). The patterned papers are from Fancy Pants Design. The letter stickers are from October Afternoon. And the pearl wrap is from Bo Bunny.

As you can tell, I haven't finished the tutorial on that inklinkz application I told you about :).

And btw, I am still missing my corner rounder punch so I manually cut these ...teehee!

This card is also for Flutter By Wednesday # 171.

In other news, my card won at the Karber Challenge blog for Challenge # 40. Sure, my card was picked randomly, but I am still over the moon!!

Have a joyful day!!

Good morning, folks!

I felt like making a card with lots and lots of textures. I just got the Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors and wanted to create some grass and a scene.

Colored up Fairwee Daphne and added the American Crafts' PP (clouds) with the Doodlebug Designs Inc (grass). I, then, made a sun out of buttons and added some flowers.

This card is for two challenges:
1. Flutter By Wednesday # 170 - open challenge but use butterfly, fairy, or angel.
2. ATS Wednesday Challenges week 93 - this week, it's anything goes.

Sorry so short. I am super tired. The tater tot is on his way to full recovery but the newbie got immunizations too and has been fussy.

I usually pre-schedule my posts to go up at midnight or in the early hours of the day. And then I go back to link my projects. But today, you'll just get two posts...one early, and one at 11 pm... LOL! I'll be waking up to feed the baby but this way, I can skip the computer ;).

XO!

Bday Tag #2

Good Tuesday morning, everyone!

If my blog looks different (a.k.a. "weird") to you, then I am in trouble. I was adding a page gadget last night and blogger was going cuckoo with my design template. I hope that this is temporary because G goes back to work today and it's my first day with the babies by myself -- AAAACKK!!!. The gadgets I have on the right side weren't showing up -- my pics, my DTs, my favorite stamp companies, etc. I am praying REAL hard that this'll fix itself in the morning! (***UPDATE: it's fixed :)***).

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent :).

I have another entry for the Some Odd Girl Guest DT challenge. The goal is to make a birthday tag using a stamp from SOG. You can view my first entry here.

For my second tag, I used Big Day Tobie. The elements of the tag are from Basic Grey. Added some sewing and a ribbon, and voila!

Hello Little Angel...

IMG_1706

Happy Friday, everyone!

Shucks! I am getting a bit nervous because we are a couple days away from the halfway point of my hubby's paternity leave. Yikes. I really need to start getting a schedule down for the kiddies. Especially if I want some rest time. And eating / showering time. TV time?? Craft time please?? I am really getting anxious about it. *B R E A T H E**

Anyway, because my DH is still home & have been very helpful, I've been able to make my cards. In fact, I got to make this cutie and fulfill two challenges as well as try out Amy's super hero hair tutorial (although I only had Copic B24 instead of B29).

The first challenge is where this adorable angel stamp is from (thank you, Tanya!). It's from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps and their challenge is to bling it up! I added lots of pearls and the flag / pole sticker actually have lots of glitter.

The second challenge is Deconstructed Sketch No. 11. I had a lot of fun with the sketch, and I really admire what the DT members have done with it.

This card will be going to a family who's about to welcome a new baby girl soon. Used lots of feminine touches like the flowery patterned papers and the violet tones.

Supplies:

PP- Both are from American Crafts. The green is from City Park (Greenbelt Gardens). The purple/green is from Dear Lizzy (Enchanted).

Stickers- Pink Paislee's House of Three (Soiree).

Pearls and Punch- Martha Stewart.

Misc- Copic Sketch Markers and Copic Multiliner (0.3).

Hugs,
