CAS Hello Kitty

IMG_2535

Good Monday morning, everyone!

Just a quick post from me right now...another CAS card. This time featuring my most favorite cartoon character ever: HELLO KITTY! She's from PSA essentials, and the stickers are from Fancy Pants Design.

This card also for the Deconstructed Sketch No. 21. And I think I mentioned before how HK is about an inch here. She's actually smaller! About 3/4 of an inch!

For all of you on the Pacific side of the country, I'll be back tonight with another card. Otherwise, I'll see you here tomorrow! (difference in time zone for my blog post :)).

Have a blessed day!

HK on the go!

IMG_2334

Hello, all!

Thought I'd play with my smallest stamps again - PSA's Hello Kitty On The Go Peel & Stick sets. Isn't she cute? She's about an inch tall and an inch wide so coloring was a breeze ;).

Decided to mix cuteness with shabby chic here, hence the black lace.

In other news, Jo gave me a blog award (thank you!), so I thought I'd play along and return the favor to some of you.

To receive this award, I need to: answer the following questions, award this 'Butterfly Award' to 10 other bloggers, contact the 10 bloggers to let them know they have been given this award, and I also need to show a link to the person who gave me the 'Butterfly Award'.

Yay, more survey questions!

Q1) Name your favorite colour?
I've been liking turquoise lately, but so add that to pink, green, and orange.

Q2) Name your favorite song?
Right now, it's Adele's 'Someone Like You.'

Q3) Name your favorite dessert?
Creme brulee'.

Q4) What wizzes you off at the moment?
Stuck-up people who are condescending.

Q5) Your favorite pet?
My purses/ camera....I take good care of it and take it everywhere with me. :)

Q6) Black or White?
Black for clothing, white for art.

Q7) Your biggest fear?
Ghosts.

Q8) Best Feature?
My cheekbones.

Q9) Everyday attitude?
Funny. And I try to be positive. Try is the key word, lol!

Q10) What is perfection?
Happy kids, a pedicure, making a stellar card, sunny weather, eating good food with no weight gain, a happy hubby, some shopping, great movie or tv show, a walk in our backyard/ the beach/ a great outdoor mall :) :) :)

Q11) Guilty Pleasure?
Reality TV - SYTYCD, Project Runway, Real World, The Challenge, Jersey Shore (teeeheeee).

Q12) When you're upset you?

Teeny Tiny Hello Kitty

IMG_2263

Today, I have a teeny, tiny card. I usually make square cards that are 6 x 6, but now wanted to think outside of the box. Plus, these cute Hello Kitty stamps from PSA are super small as well. It's about an inch in height.

I first saw these stamps of my favorite cartoon character of all times from Stephanie. I didn't know what peel & stick packs were and when I ordered these at the local Papyrus store, the clerk insisted that I needed the stamp body. I had just given birth and was ordering over the phone. But I should've known better. Basically, if you are a stamper, you do NOT need the stamp body because an acrylic block would work the same. I was so bummed that I spent that extra cash for something I already had. And I couldn't return it because it was personalized with my initials and address. Anyway, just a tip in case the stores try to talk you into one.

I'm proud to say that all the supplies were left-over scrap papers from multiple projects. They are from Echo Park - I got them from the June PaperCard kit over at PWCO. These monthly kits sure could last and it's only $11.99 (based in Canada).

The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Ok, gotta run! I've got a sick tater tot :(. Hope he feels better soon as we have two parties this weekend.
