Beautiful Bride.

IMG_7080-1

Hiya folks!

I do apologize if you haven't heard from me. Alas, I have no good excuse except that I've been busy with life. That is, my family, my kids, my job... I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving Holiday.

My son's preschool teacher got married last month, and I wanted to share the card I made for her. I actually really love how her skin turned out as I hadn't been satisfied with my coloring of African American skin. Until this time :).

The card has a lot of details but it is actually very simple to make. I hope you continue visiting. And I promise to catch up on your blogs soon!!

Dream Big, Harry.

IMG_7068-1

Hello folks!

It's Monday so it's time for another Karber digi feature! This time, I have Harry Potter and I've included him in this birthday card for my Godson.

And Karber clear stamps are now available on Etsy!! And right now, there is a special promotion going on -- free shipping to the U.S. Check out the store here.

I've finally bought the Wizard of Oz set that I've been looking at for years!!

Have a wonderful week!

Double Embossing.

IMG_7074-1

Hi peeps!!

For this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges (#51), do or use double embossing!

*sighs* I am horrified to say that after a couple of years of talking about it, I still NOT have bought a die-cutting/embossing machine. I know, I know..you all are tired of me complaining about it, eh? :)

So I just had to cheat and use two cardstocks that were pre-embossed. Tada! Easy-peasy to my problema!

I used a bit of metallic chalk to make sure the raised parts showed through. And I used this cute image from Some Odd Girl.

Hope you get to visit the rest of the DTs! Their work is so amazing and inspirational!

PL

This is way late!!!

In fact, this was a couple of the last Project Life pages I did. I think they were from the beginning of the summer season.

The pictures were from my phone so they're not the best quality.

I've decided that for next year, I am going to scrap more and make less cards. Just because I feel the need to document my kids' young years. They are growing up so fast. And also, because of the cost of supplies...I'd rather keep them in the family for a bit instead of constantly giving them out.

I have, however, a couple of DTs so I will still be continuing my love of stamping. Hopefully, I get to use my stamps with my scrapbooking too! :)

Have a wonderful day!

Christmas Leslie.

IMG_6962-1

Happy Monday, folks!

I hope you are having a good start of the week so far. I had a weird, but good weekend. Hubby's away on business so I'm a single mom right now :). But life still had to go on with birthday parties and get-togethers. I am, however, now knowledgeable about how to call internationally from my phone! LOL!

Today's card features this cute Karber digi (Christmas Leslie). She'd be perfect for any Holiday card!

Have a fantastic day!
