We didn't always get along--actually, sometimes, we still don't.
But family is family, and blood is thicker than water. My siblings mean the world to me.
Growing up in a family of six, our home was always chaotic and loud. Being the oldest, I got blamed for everything!! But I was also bossy and so good at delegating (I carry this trait at work, my poor co-workers!).
My sibs keep me grounded...if I get too caught up with the trendiest "it" purse or the latest gadget, they ask, "Do you really need that?" or "You could be saving your money for something bigger like a house."
I like this lay-out because my brother is there. We hardly get any pictures of him and so I wanted to make him the main point of the pics by matching his shirt to the background (I also haven't been doing many blue lay-outs).
Supplies used: Background paper from Pages in a Snap in Sage Green Brush; Painted strips and paper towel from Traci Bautista's kol laj; Transparencies from Narratives by Karen Russell in Roots; Ribbon from Basic Grey in Hang 10; Flowers from No. 5 Forever Flowers by Prima; Ink from Stampin' Up in Earth Elements; Buttons (?); Gems from My Mind's Eye in "Barefoot"; Glitter tag from Marcella by K in Anastasia's attic; Brads from Bazzill; Micron Journaling Pens.

I love how you do your layouts - especially the ones of your family (I don't know why I don't do enough of those!)
